Service Manager

We are looking for a Service Manager to join our team.

We are a busy Heavy Trailer Dealership with a Parts & Service Centre open from 8 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Overall responsibility for achieving service profitability
  • Oversee operations in service and guide growth and best practices
  • Develop plans and objective to meet overall sales targets
  • Provide leadership and guidance to service technicians, regular review of performance commitments and ongoing dialogue
  • Maintain positive attitudes of all staff to ensure targets are achieved
  • Maintain quality workmanship through monitoring uniformed inspection guidelines
  • Build and maintain rapport with internal and external customers or vendors, as required

  • 8-9 +years’ experience in the heavy truck and trailer industry 
  • Several years in a senior supervisor/management capacity
  • Truck and Trailer Inspection License
  • Attention to detail, strong computer and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritiz
  • Strong customer service and follow-up  
  • Proven mechanical aptitude and strong understanding of the industry
